1st Annual Meeting

European Bossons Collectors Group

9th August 2008 - Ardleigh, Colchester, Essex England

What a fabulous time was had by all at the first 'European Bossons Collectors Meeting'. The meeting was thrown open to none members and our hosts Val and Martyn provided as all with a wonderful welcome and a day that will be truly remembered by all who attended. This meeting was certainly a special occasion. Bossons talk was rife and we were entertained by the family menagerie which included a pet 'pot belly pig' and enough garden wildlife and birds to satisfy the keenest naturalist. A truly splendid meal was provided by Val and there was quite a thriving trade in Bossons sales between attendees, including the sale of a Fraser Art 'Racehorse' in beautiful condition. Festivities continued until late into the evening and a number of alcoholic beverages were consumed  including a number of somewhat lively lagers which did provide some amusement.

Thanks are certainly the order of the day for Val and Martyn for inviting us to their beautiful home and for providing us with such a warm welcome and also for the support provided by the IBCS at large, including our President Norm Derocher and his lovely wife Teena.
