22nd Annual IBCS Meeting 2007

International Bossons Collectors Society (IBCS)

Burlington, Vermont, USA

WYNDHAM HOTEL

3rd - 6th May 2007

The 22nd Annual Meeting is promising to be a fabulous event. The Chairpersons this year are Diane and Syd Lehman and Arrangements Chairpersons John and Helen Newton. As well as the main convention and the banquet on Saturday night, there are also motor coach trips planned to 'Tour Vermont' on the Friday and to 'Montreal' (Canada) on the Monday after the meeting. It is also rumoured that Don Hardisty may be taking one of the presentation slot so we can look forward to brilliant meeting  (Not that anybody is interested but my wife and I are planning to attend this meeting. This will be our first visit to America ... Yahoo)

4th May - Tour of Vermont : Tour will include visits to President Arthur's Birthplace, Maple Syrup Farm and Ben & Jerrys

7th May - Tour to Montreal, Canada : Tour will include visits to Notre Dame and Montreal.

Other reasons to visit Vermont are maybe you would like to see 'Champ' the legendary monster of Lake Champ, there is the Shelburne Museum and the site of the northernmost military engagement of the Civil War or how about a trip to the 'Von Trapp Family Lodge' and visit the Austrian tearooms. Its all there in Vermont.....

If you are fan of 'The Sound of Music' movie and looking for a few extras days vacation then maybe staying at the 'Von Trapp Family Lodge' is the answer. The original Von Trapp family have owned and operated this Lodge since the 1950. This could be quite a nostalgic stay and is something that I am considering..
