Kruger

Produced 1962 only. Sculpted be Fred Wright. Height 8 inches. Series A Composite. One edition of approx 12no models. Probably one of the most valuable Bossons. This model was only released in South Africa.

Rarity - The Rarest
                   

Paul Kruger was the president of the Zuid-Afrikaanse Republiek (old Transvaal) during the Anglo-Boer Wars in South in 1898-99 and 1901-02. His people called him "Oom Paul (Uncle Paul)."  Kruger became famous as a hunter and fighter and was highly respected for his intimate knowledge of Zulu warfare. His family helped organize the Transvaal, the new Dutch state in South Africa. He died in exile in Switzerland
