Earlier models
have a grey necktie and a protruding wire mount. The later versions have a
purple necktie and recessed wire mount.
Mounting Boards
There are a bunch of the so called "common" heads that were
on backboards. There is a red backing, blue, and white / grey textured
backings. Bossons always used a paper label underneath the heads. |

on a display card of red felt, with the name of Mr. Pickwick at the bottom
of the card. Bossons mark on the collar. Information on the back of the
card states "This is an advanced sample subject to final adjustments in
the position of the head on the display card"
Model is
slightly larger than the standard Mr Pickwick (5.5Hx3.75Wx2.50Deep).
Registered copyright date on the rear is 1959. Stamped on base is - Mr
Pickwick 1964 Bossons England.
